Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

The service was the only thing that was kind of okay and that's even a stretch. The pizza was one of the worst I have ever had, from just a bad flavor to them adding items that are not listed on the menu and telling me I didn't ask for them to not be put on there! All around terrible and I will never return and would NOT recommend this place ever!

If your looking for a good college bar the cabin is what your looking for. The cabin has affordable food and good drink specials throughout the week. The bartenders are friendly and the wait staff is very good. Pizza is the cabin's go to food on the menu. There is better pizza places in town but for the price cabin's pizza is decent. During the night hours, karaoke is always a good time at the bin. The one down side of the Cabin is it is very loud at night. When the music is playing you can't hear any conversations you are having. Or you can't hear the games that are being played on the t.v. So if you are going there to watch a game the cabin is probably not the best choice. But overall cabin is a pretty good bar with a pretty good location.

I can't believe I never went here during my 3.5 years at Central. Good stuff! Good pizza and even better cheese bread! The place is pretty big, and it's fun to read all the writing people have written on the walls.
(5)Rob W.
Cheap drink and food that are all delicious. It can be a little crowded at time but get here early and you'll have fun all night. The pizza and long islands are what make the Cabin.
(5)Chris K.
All around good pizza. Toppings and cheese were great as was the sauce. Will definitely eat here again. Would have given 5 stars, but the delivery was pretty slow. However, the pizza arrived fresh and hot.
(4)Kellea K.
Terrible service every time I have gone to this place. The servers seem to be far too busy texting to bring you your food that is sitting in the window getting cold.

It was late so we walked over to this place for some drinks and bread sticks. Cabin Sticks? I forget what they were called, but it's basically bread sticks with cheese in the middle, served with a side of ranch or marinara. It was comfortable and quiet since school wasn't back in session yet. No having to yell over crowds or noise or obnoxiously drunk college kids. Lots of randomness on the jukebox to keep things interesting. The wait staff was incredibly friendly. The drinks were delicious. Even the women's bathroom kept me entertained by all the notes of guys who had/didn't have a big co... penis.

Oh, Cabin, how I miss you so! You were and still are a favorite, though I may not get to visit you as often as I like. Pizza - delicious. Cabin sticks - divine. Long islands.... why oh why can't I get those for that price in Detroit?!?!? Always will be a favorite!!!!
(5)Kelly B.
The Cabin has good pizza. It's menu as a whole is pretty decent, especially for a bar. There are lots of regulars there, and many sports teams end up there after games. They usually have good drink specials and the waitstaff are awesome. I like the Cabin because it really does impart the warm fuzzy feeling of being at a cabin somewhere...

The cabin has the best pizza in town! Friendly bartenders and a good menu make this a good choice in town.

Great Pizza! Great Drinks! Love the staff! The Cabin is a really fun place to go if your just looking to relax and have a fun time.
(5)Jeff W.
Good staff and good pizza. The tables are all in poor shape, but it adds to the atmosphere. Good times! Will be back for more
(4)Kayla B.
Its a pretty busy place. Good food. Really rude employees and extremely loud at night. Not family friendly but nice for takeout! Love their cabin sticks
(3)Eduardo M.
I've had The Cabin pizza twice now (about 1.5 years apart). Both times have not disappointed. The crust, the sauce, the ingredients are all too notch. I recommend the BBQ chicken, supreme or just plain o pepperoni. I look forward to The Cabin each time I visit Mount Pleasant!

I ended up here with three hungry teenage boys on a Monday after a long day touring campus. They have ridiculously cheap pizza on Monday. I think it was $6. So I was expecting subpar quality, but it was delicious! When these boys are true starving college students, they'll be back to split one pizza three ways for two bucks each.
(5)Matt M.
Best pizza I'm Mount Pleasant, along with a wide variety of beers. The staff is friendly and helpful, They have a nice patio to sit outside.
(4)Joey S.
Good pizza and the cabin sticks are great. The price is really good if you dine in during the week. If you order carry out it is over priced.
(4)Bob J.
Went there for the $5.99 large 1-topping on Mondays. The flavor was fine, but the crust was pretty undercooked. Furthermore, the server was awful and didn't make eye contact with us the entire time (even when taking our order).
(2)Kathy G.
Great pizza, but you can't get iced tea anymore. Who ever heard of a restaurant where iced tea is not offered??
(4)Doug D.
Great decor and awesome service. Had a large meat pizza. Wasn't the best I've had, rate it a 2 of 5 but because of the service and atmosphere I'd stop by again...after I ate dinner someplace else.
(3)KrisAnn B.
This was one of my favorite places during my years at CMU. The pizza is delicious and the drinks are even better. Grab an Island Park Iced Tea, so yummy and comes in a giant glass. I also love the nights when they have live music. It's a great place to go with friends and grab a drink without having to deal with over the top drunks.
(4)Ted H.
Another must when in Mt. Pleasant. Excellent pizza and great beer! Is there bad beer?....
(5)Jessica M.
The Cabin offers great drink and food specials. Probably the best pizza in Mt. Pleasant. It's a popular place for sports teams to come after games. Always packed with young adults, which can be annoying. VERY loud. The log atmosphere makes for a lack of a noise cushion. It's hard to have a convo here. In my experiences, the waitstaff has been less than stellar too.
(3)Kelly K.
The Cabin has the best pizza in town, hands down. The staff is very friendly and does a great job when it gets super busy at night. Karaoke night is always fun, the drinks are awesome. I recommend the veggie pizza with feta!!!
(5)Melissa L.
Some of my best memories from my Central days include Cabin Sticks and a Thunderbird. You just can't beat the prices here, especially when you factor in the quality and portions. You would easily pay twice as much for drinks half the size at O'Kelly's - right down the road.
(5)Robert G.
Overall, pound for pound my favorite place in my time in Mt Pleasant. As a student I tried multiple places in town all with a good amount of success. But the Cabin takes the cake, best pizza in town, best portions as far as money for your drinks, and unlike O'Kellys down the road it doesn't take over an hour to get up to the bar and get a drink. Karaoke nights are awesome, $2 party's are awesome, and overall atmosphere is great. It's not just college kids, since it's one of the local favorites for drinks and food. Oh and the Cabin Sticks, yes they are basically Bosco sticks from high school, except all the way cooked, delicious, and good portions.
(5)Dustin J.
Like any other bar in town, good drink specials and decent food but it gets obnoxiously packed at night! I like the "cabin" feel of the place and all the woodwork, makes for a nice atmosphere. Their pizza and cabin sticks are one of the best in town, it really saves this review from being any lower.
